The consultation is the first step in your journey to becoming a published author. It’s the time where we meet over a phone call (Zoom and Skype are options, too) and get to know each other a little. It’s also a chance for you to tell me about your project and goals, and for us to see if we’re a good fit for each other. Consultations typically last an hour or less and are free of charge.
If we decide to work together, I’ll send you a contract outlining the project, payment schedule, and timeline which includes milestone dates and a target finalization date. Once we’ve both signed the contract, we’ll get started.
I’ve worked with high-profile clients whose projects include sensitive information requiring confidentiality. While our contract will have a non-disclosure clause, I am also happy to sign an NDA prior to the consultation upon request so you can be assured of my discretion and, whether or not we work together, that everything we discuss during every step of our association will be kept confidential.
